Experience the wonders of the Turkey and the Bodrum Peninsula on two wheels. Cycle between Turkish villages and gain an authentic insight into the everyday life across the area and see why this corner of the world is the perfect place to explore.

Your experience begins in Çamlık, where you will then cycle to the Garova vineyards to learn about grape varieties within the region before continuing to the charming village of Etrim. Here, you will have the chance to visit the Etrim Village Carpet Cooperation and learn about the work that goes into the creation of each piece and enjoy time to learn about the traditional techniques used by the skilled artisans.

There will be a chance to taste gozleme, a traditional Turkish dish that consists of a thin dough that is hand-rolled and filled with a variety of delicious ingredients such as cheese, spinach, minced meat.

Next, you will continue the journey by bus and leave the bikes in Etrim, and drive to the Bekiroglu Olive Oil factory. Founded back in 1942, it is still owned by the same family for generations and now run by the daughter, Huri. The bus will take you back to Etrim, where you will collect your bike and the journey on two wheels will continue back to Çamlık where the experience will come to an end.

Separate transfers will be provided for those attending the leaders lunch.

The cycle ride costs £65 and includes a wonderful lunch of traditional foods from the local area. All proceeds will go to ABTA LifeLine. Book your place (confirm your bike choice) through the Convention office here
