ABTA LifeLine has launched a new grant aimed at providing assistance to those in the travel industry who are facing financial challenges during the summer months.
The summer holidays and the subsequent return to school in September often impose significant financial strain on many families. ABTA LifeLine´s Summertime Grant has been created with the aim of alleviating some of these burdens and providing financial relief to those in need.
ABTA LifeLine will be offering assistance in the form of food vouchers, support in purchasing school uniforms, stationery and tech supplies, as well as the opportunity to create lasting family memories. This way applicants don’t need to face the decision of what to sacrifice this summer.
The Summertime Grant will run until the end of September.
Eligibility for this grant is open to individuals who currently work for, or have worked for, an ABTA member. Applicants must also provide uploaded bank statements for review. In the case of the Summertime Grant, eligibility extends to individuals with children under 18 living at the same address. Previous recipients of support from ABTA LifeLine are welcome to apply for these grants.
The Summertime Grant awarded will depend on individual circumstances and may include:
- Food vouchers
- Return to school support: vouchers for school uniforms, stationery, and tech support
- Attraction day vouchers, along with transport and subsistence costs
- Wellbeing support.
